8 oz butter
4 oz flour
3 oz icing sugar
4 oz corn starch
jam or glaze icing:

8 oz icing sugar
squeeze of lemon juice
2- 2 1/2 TBSP warm water
food colouring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and icing sugar, Work in flour and cornstarch. Pour into small paper cups. Bake for 45 minutes at 375º until pale brown. Fill container with jam. Dust with icing sugar.

Glacé icing: Add sugar and lemon juice to saucepan. Add water cautiously. Mix to consistent coating. Add colour, beat well. Stir over gentle heat for 1 minute. Pour over tarts
