1 lb ground moose
1 T veg oil
1 large onion
2 cl garlic
1/4 tsp cumin
1 T chili powder
1/4 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne
2 cups chopped tomatoes
salt & pepper to taste

Crust:
1 cup blue cornmeal - Bob's Red Mill preferred
1-2 T Flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp b powder
1 - 3 tsp crushed jalapeno
1 egg
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 T veg oil

Topping:
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp gr chipoltle
1/4 tsp oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Heat oil and saute meat, add onion and garlic and spices and cook til browned. Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Taste and add S & P to taste. Consistency should be medium moist, not too soupy.

Crust - In Medium bowl, combine cornmeal, 1 T flour, salt B Powder and Jalapeno. In another bowl, comgine the egg, 1/2 c yogurt and veg oil. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir together until just combined, Should be very thick. Add small amount of yogurt if too thick to spread.

Pour meat mixture in a n 8x8 baking dish. Pour the crust mix on top of it. It's OK if the batter sinks into the meat mixture a bit. Bake at 450 until the top is crusted over and a bit browned, 20 - 25 minutes. Poke with a toothpick to test. Prepare topping. Serve with a dollop of topping.
