4 Large limes
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup tequila
1/4 cup orange liqueur
lime wedges
salt
ice

Directions:
Finely shred the peel from the limes (about 2 Tbsp). Stir lime peel into water & let stand for 30 mins. Strain and discard the peel. Squeeze limes to make 1/2 cup juice, set aside. Stir sugar into strained lime peel mixture until dissolved. Stir in reserved lime juice, tequila and orange liqueur. Rub glasses with lime wedge and dip in salt (if desired). Pour mixture over ice & garnish with lime.
