1/2 c white syrup
1/4 c water

Cook to hard crack stage (305 degrees). Add 1 tsp. food coloring and 1 tsp. anise oil.

I have preformed trays that I pour the mixture in and they pop out quite easily otherwise

9x9” pan works well. Either cut through as cooling to make little squares or break into bite size pieces when cooled.
