1 1/2 # ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp. oregano
dash of garlic powder
1 can of green chilies chopped (or Jalapenos)
1/4 tsp. red pepper, crushed
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 T chili powder
2 cans light red kidney beans
1 (28oz) can tomatoes
1 (16oz) can tomato sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef, onions, chilies and bell pepper. Drain. Ad beans, tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Add other ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thick. Can be done a slow cooker
