1 head of iceberg lettuce, cut up
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped green onions (or 1 onion chopped)
1 10 oz. package frozen green peas (not thawed)
2 T sugar
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
Enough shredded sharp cheddar to make a nice layer
1/2 jar bacon bits or you can fry your own

No tossing, mixing or stirring!!!! Dry lettuce is important.

Layer ingredients in order listed. Cover and refrigerate overnight. DO NOT STIR!
