3/4 stick butter flavored Crisco
1 - 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 - 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 6oz. pkg. chocolate chips (1 cup)
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Beat Crisco and brown sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in milk, vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Blend in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded measuring tbsp. 2" apart. onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen
