5 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 pcs green bell pepper, cubed
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 lb. ground (lean) beef
½ lb. spiced ham, diced
2 pcs 11g. beef bouillon cubes, crushed
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp oregano
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp sugar or according to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1 400g. (or 1 lb) pack elbow macaroni, cooked (follow package directions)
1 170g can NESTLÉ Cream
1 1/2 cups grated cheese

1. Sauté garlic and onions in butter or margarine, add bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
2. Add in the tomato paste and saute for 1 minute.
3. Stir in ground beef, spiced ham, and crushed beef bouillon cubes. Season with soy sauce, marjoram, paprika and oregano. Cook meat until done.
4. Pour in the tomato sauce plus 1 cup water and simmer until thick. Adjust seasonings to taste.
5. Stir in cooked elbow macaroni noodles evenly to meat sauce. Remove from heat and pour in NESTLÉ Cream.
6. Arrange in a Pyrex dish; top with grated cheese and bake at 300º F for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
