2 medium lemons
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 c. chilled club soda
2-3 drops yellow food coloring, optional
additional sugar, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Remove ends from lemons & discard. Remove lemon peel with a knife; set aside. Quarter lemons; squeeze juice into a bowl. Remove & discard white membrane.

Place the peel & pulp in a blender; cover & process until coarsely chopped. Add peel mixture & sugar to lemon juice; mix well. Let stand fpr 30 minutes.

Stir in milk. Strain lemon mixture; add club soda & food coloring if desired. Serve immediately in sugar-rimmed glass if desired.
