1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp baking Powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp dried thyme*
1 tsp dried parsley*
1 tsp dried oregano*

3TBL butter
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients with a fork, cut in butter with a pastry cutter or knife and fork, until course crumbs form. Gradually add milk, using just enough to form thick dough like batter. Drop by rounded Tablespoons into simmering broth or on top of a stew or chicken for Chicken and dumplings. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Baste a few spoon full's of cooking liquid over the top the last few minutes of cooking. Do not keep removing lid to peek on and off. Best to just let it simmer.

* Herbs are optional, any combo you like is good, chives are good too.
