3 cups whole wheat flour
1TBSP baking powder
1TBSP baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups room temperature butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 TBSP vanilla
3 cups chocolate chips
3 cups oatmeal
2 cups coconut lakes
2 cups chopped nuts, I like walnuts, some like pecans

Preheat oven to 350 f

In a med mixing bowl mix flour, baking powder and soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of your stand mixer, or mixing bowl beat butter until smooth, add sugars and mix for 2 minutes, add eggs one at a time mix in vanilla.
Stir in flour mixture until just combined, add remaining ingredients one at a time until fully incorporated.
Drop by teaspoons or roll into walnut sized balls and tap down a little. I make about 15 to a half sheet pan. Bake 12 - 15 minutes until edges start to brown. Cool 1-2 minutes on sheet then remove to cooling racks.

Thank You Christina! A stand mixer is a must for me. Mix is big and dense. Hand mixing is fine for you folks with young strong arms! Most cookie recipes say UN greased pans. I like to spray a thin mist of cooking spray on my pan then wipe with a paper towel. We like to freeze these and eat them frozen.
