2 egg whites, beaten slightly
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1 padlock and chain

Directions:
Directions:
In the evening, beat the egg whites while adding the sugar until stiff.

Fold the vanilla extract, chocolate chips and chopped nuts into the egg whites.

Drop by a teaspoon onto a greased aluminum foil sheet in a baking tray.

Heat oven to 350º for 10 or 15 minutes.

Put cookie tray into the oven, and turn off the heat. Do not open the oven until morning. Lock the oven with the padlock and chain if you have children and/or a spouse or you will call this recipe "Disappearing Cookies".
