2 Cups Sugar
½ Cup Karo Syrup
1 Tsp. Vanilla
5 Tbsp. Water
2 Egg Whites – beat until stiff peaks form
Food Coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup and water until soft ball stage. Fold half the syrup into egg whites. Put the remaining syrup back on the stove and cook for 1 ½ minutes longer. Then add to egg whites also add vanilla. Beat with spoon until it loses its gloss. Drop by teaspoon full onto wax paper.
