Pappy's Prime Rib Roast Recipe

Buy a Prime Rib Roast 3 or 4 pounds
Choose a roaster closest to the size of the roast
Line with parchment paper
Brush meat with olive oil. Season and rub seasoning into meat.
We use seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic and pickling salt.
Do not cover

Directions:
Cook in 400º for 30 minutes. This sears the meat juices.
Lower oven to 325º and roast until thermometer reads 140-145 degrees.

Remove from oven and tent with foil and let rest for 30 minutes before slicing

Pappy makes this roast to perfection.......delicious especially when topped with Au Jus sauce from the packet.
