Put in 30 clean washed potatoes with skins on. Put in 30 carrots cut into 3-4” pieces. Add about 30 pieces of corn on the cob. Then add desired meat (Usually ham and polish sausage) put in at least 30 pieces.

Put all these items in this order in a Milk Can. On the top place 2 – 3 heads of cabbage (cut in half). Cover with one quart of water. Cook over slow fire. Set milk can on two cinder blocks with fire between them. Put lid on loosely and cook for about 1 hour.
