2 cans yellow kernel corn (not creamed)
1 large jar of fresh oysters (not smoked)
3 eggs
2 (or more) c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Saltine crackers (or whatever crackers you happen to purchase)
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Into a greased casserole dish, put a thin layer of crushed crackers. Top with 1 can of corn, salt, and pepper. Crush a thin layer of crackers over this, and lay oysters on top. Add another can of corn and a layer of oysters, then another thin layer of cracker crumbs.

Beat eggs and add milk. Pour over casserole. (Add more milk if this doesn't quite cover all. Dot with butter and bake in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned.

Oyster corn was served at every holiday meal by Jennifer's great-grandmother and great-grandfather Nace. (The kids never liked it, but it was a favorite among the adults.)
