Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 (15oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust
FILLING-
4 cups (6 medium) apples, sliced and peeled (I like to substitute 2 cans of Comstock sliced apples, if you can find them) Plain apples, not pie filling.
2 Tbls. Margarine or Butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
TOPPING-
1/2 chopped pecans
1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbls. milk or half and half
1/2 cup margarine or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pie crust as directed for two crust filled pie using 9 inch pie pan.
Heat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; toss lightly.
Spoon mixture into crust-lined pan. Dot with 2 Tbls. butter. Top with second crust, seal edges and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.

Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning. Remove from oven.

Topping:
Melt 1/4 cup butter in small saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and milk.
Slowly bring to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in pecans. Spread quickly over top of pie. Place pie of cookie sheet. Return to oven; bake an additional 3-4 minutes until topping bubbles. Cool at least 1 hour before serving.
