1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup Minute Rice
1/2 cup chopped onion (Mom used dried, in a pinch)
salt and pepper
2 15 oz cans tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine ground beef, rice, onion and salt/pepper (with your hands.) Shape beef mixture into 1" balls and put in bottom of medium saucepan. Pour tomato sauce over balls and cook covered on medium heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring carefully occasionally. Remove meatballs from sauce with spoon, and thicken with a little cornstarch and water, if necessary.
Serve with mashed potatoes and bread and butter.
