1 1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
green food color

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract beating well. Sift flour and baking powder. Add the dry to the creamed mixture mixing until smooth. Add green food color until the right shade is reached. Do not chill but force through manual or electric cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate with colored sprinkles and little silver balls as desired. Bake at 400º for approximately 8 minutes, then cool.

The Azevedo family always had these on Christmas Eve. We love one little silver ball at the top of each tree cookie and then rainbow sprinkles as the ornaments.
