1 c. White Sugar
1 c. Shortening
3 Eggs
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
3½ c. Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ tsp. Salt

Directions:
Form into a ball and press with a fork one way and then again crosswise. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 minutes.
