1 c Sugar
1 12 oz bag Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 c chopped Nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Lightly grease a cookie sheet with margarine. Place saltines on cookie sheet to cover it.

Bring sugar and margarine to a boil and simmer, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly with no oil on top. (Be careful it doesn't turn tan in color.) About 4 minutes.

Pour mixture over the saltines and spread with a spatula.

Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 325º until bubbling on top. Turn off oven, remove cookie sheet. Sprinkle chocolate morsels evenly over crackers. Place back in oven with door open until morsels are melted.

Remove from oven and spread the chocolate, covering all crackers. Spring with chopped nuts (if desired) and refrigerate until chocolate is hard. Break into pieces.
