1 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. light brown sugar(do not pack)
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine; add brown sugar and vanilla. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add. Next add pecans and blend well. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

We always had these little brown cookies at Christmas. Especially good with ice cream or coffee.
