1 lb. cooked sausage (five brats) I like Italian sausage. Casing removed
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
4 cups broccoli florets chopped to 3/4"
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
(or you may substitute 2 cups of 1/2 and 1/2 to replace the heavy cream and milk)
1 lb. rotini pasta, cooked according o package directions
2 Tbsp. butter
Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste

Cook rotini pasta according to package directions. Drain water. Mix Parmesan cheese in with the rotini. Heat oil in non-stick sauté pan. Add sausage, while sausage is cooking, break up with a spoon. After sausage is cooked drain fat. Combine cream, milk, butter and broccoli in pan. Simmer for 12-15 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Combine all ingredients and stir over heat until cream sauce does not collect on bottom of pan. Add additional Parmesan cheese and serve.
