Crust:
50 to 60 Waverly crackers
1 stick margarine

5 egg whites
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 can lemon pie filling
1 8 or 9 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Crush Waverly crackers.
Add melted margarine.
Pat crust in pan.

Beat 5 egg whites.
Add 1 1/4 cups sugar
Spread over crust.
Bake 25 min. at 325º.
Spread 1 can lemon pie filling over cooled crust.
Spread Cool Whip over lemon filling.
Sprinkle lightly with browned cracker crumbs.

Keep some browned cracker crumbs for topping.
Can brown crackers while baking crust-about 10 min.
