Brisket, fat trimmed
Liquid Smoke
Garlic Powder
Salt, Pepper
Barbecue Sauce (Mom used Kraft's Original Thick-n-Spicy)

Directions:
Directions:
Place trimmed brisket in a large piece of heavy duty foil.
Thoroughly baste with liquid smoke, then liberally sprinkle with garlic powder,salt & pepper.
Seal tight and refrigerate overnight.

Cook in a 300º oven (still sealed) for 3-4 hours,depending on size.

Open; slice brisket, making sure it is not pink. Pour bbq sauce over all, warm in oven unsealed till sauce is warm.

This was a favorite for Sunday dinner, served with golden potato casserole, and Hawaiian rolls.
