1 egg
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
1 lb. dates, chopped
1 heaping teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
4 cups crisp rice cereal
coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cook egg, dates, margarine and sugar for two minutes. Add nuts, cook ten minutes or longer over very slow heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla, then rice cereal, one cup at a time.
Form into small balls the size of small walnuts, roll in coconut.
These are most attractive and tasty!
