1/2 stick oleo or butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Sliced fresh peaches (or any fruit), leave enough room for the cobbler to raise
Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Dot bottom of 9x9 pan with butter. Mix other ingredients and pour over butter. Add sliced fruit, sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon over top.
Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until top is light brown.
