"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar (icing sugar works best)
1/4 cup corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Beat salt and egg whites with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, about 1 tbsp at a time., beating until smooth and glossy. Continue beating and add corn syrup, a little at a time , beating after each addition until frosting peaks.
Makes enough to frost a 9 inch layer cake.
Frosting has a tendancy to melt (weep) so do not frost cakes in advance.

I use pasteurized egg whites and refrigerate cake.

This is Molly's recipe. I had it when they were still in Kemano. This became a must have tradition on Bob's confetti angel food birthday cake ever since.
