1 large can crushed tomato
1 can 11oz diced tomatoes
1 can 11oz chili beans
1 can 110z black beans rinsed and drained
1 onion chopped
1T chili powder - Penzey's medium heat
1T chili powder - Penzey's Chili con carne
1 ½ T salt
1 1/2 t Penzey's Smoked Paprika
2 t cumin
1t oregano
1t basil

15 heated charcoal brickets on the bottom of the Dutch oven (under). Brown the meat with onion. Drain off the fat. Add everything else & stir it up. Cover with the dutch oven lid. Put 8 coals on top of the Dutch oven lid and let it cook for 45 min- 1 hour.

Every Halloween I cook this out on the cul-de-sac for the neighbors. We bring our candy out there and set it up on a table then sit around and talk waiting for the trick or treaters to come. We even made it in the parking lot for a few Ranger Baseball game tailgate parties.
