6 qts. popcorn (popped)
2 sticks butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Keep popcorn warm in the oven at 250º in a large roasting pan. Meanwhile, melt butter, stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, salt. Bring to a boil,stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Soda will make the syrup thick and frothy. Slowly pour syrup over the popcorn, mixing well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring and turning every 15 minutes. Cool. (Peddicord size is 1 1/2 cup kernels and 1 1/2 of the caramel recipe, makes a big roaster full)
