1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, with electric beater on medium speed, cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Slowly blend in the flour, baking soda and salt. Beat in mashed bananas and vanilla until well mixed. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into a greased 7" x 11" baking pan. Bake 40 - 45 minutes, until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool. Stand back to avoid the feeding frenzy.
