1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups cherrios
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Heat to melt the butter and dissolve the sugar but do not boil.
Add peanut butter to the pan and stir well. Then add cereal and peanuts.
Press in a buttered 8 X 8 inch pan. Cool and cut into squares.
If the peanuts are salted omit the 1/4 teaspoon salt.
