2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c.butter
1 c. milk

Filling:
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c.brown sugar

Directions:
To make filling:
Cream together the butter and brown sugar. Set aside.

Whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl.Cut in the butter to make crumbs.Make a well, add the milk. Stir to make a soft dough.
Turn out on lightly floured board.Knead 8 times. Roll into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick.Spread with the filling.Roll up and cut into 12 even slices.Arrange cut side down in greased muffin pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Cool for 2 minutes and then invert pan and remove so they don't stick.

Sometimes I sprinkle the filling with cinnamon before rolling up.
These are best the same day.
