4 egg yolks
1/1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 stiff beaten egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks until very thick. Gradually add sugar, continue beating. Add water, mix well and add sifted dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and add vanilla extract. Fold in egg whites. Bake in 10 inch ungreased angel food pan at 325º for 1 hour. Invert pan to cool.
Serve with real whip cream. Strawberries go well, too.
