1 c butter
1/4 c sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 c sifted flour
1 c chopped nuts (walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugar and continue to beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Gradually add flour and mix well. Stir in nuts.

If dough is hard to manage, chill for several hours. Shape into small balls and place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350º until just slightly golden. DO NOT BROWN. Let cool slightly and while still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Roll again when in powdered sugar when cool.
