1 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 cup soya sauce
1 teaspoon ajinomoto (MSG)
1 1/2 pound sirloin or beef tenderloin, cut into very thin slices
beef suet (or cooking oil)
2 onions
6 - 8 green onions
2 or 3 medium bamboo shoots
2 squares tofu
1 can vermicelli noodles
sugar (if desired)
spinach, mushrooms, carrots, snow peas (optional)
6 raw eggs (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Make Warishita (sauce) by adding mirin, soya sauce, and ajinomoto. Place this cooking sauce in pitcher and set aside.
2. Cut beef and the vegetables into thin bite sizes slices or pieces and arrange neatly on a large platter and bring to table
3. Place electric skillet on table and place suet (or cooking oil) in it
4. When suet has melted, add vegetables and some Warishita.
5. When vegetables are almost done, add the meat
6. Add sugar, if desired

Additional Comments:
Optional: Each guest breaks own egg into a small bowl, beats it and dips sukiyaki into it before eating. Serve with hot steaming rice.
