4 tsp. cornstarch divided
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb. fresh blueberries
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c. old fashioned rolled oats
3 T chopped walnuts
2 T cornmeal 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 c. chilled butter cut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 375 coat an 8 inch square glass dish and sprinkle with 2 tsp of cornstarch shaking evenly in dish. Combine remaining 2 tsp of cornstarch, 2 t brown sugar, vanilla and blueberries in a large bowl and toss. Pour in prepared baking dish. combine flour, brown sugar, oats, walnuts, cornmeal, cinnamon and nutmeg in a food processer pulsing a couple of times to combine. Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal. Spoon toping evenly over blueberries packing down slightly. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until filling is bubbly and top is golden brown
