2 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup granny smith apple chopped finely
2 T shredded cheddar cheese
1 T Italian style bread crumbs
1 T butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 c. pinot grigio white wine
1/4 c. chicken broth
1 T water
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. tarragon

Directions:

Mix apples, cheese, walnuts and bread crumbs in a small bowl and set aside.
Flatten chicken between wax paper to 1/4 thickness and season with garlic salt, salt and pepper, tarragon. Divide apple mixture between the two chicken breast and roll them and secure them with toothpicks.
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat and brown the stuffed chicken. Add wine and broth and cover. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until no longer pink. Transfer to a serving platter and combine water and cornstarch add to pan juices cook until thickened and pour over chicken and serve
