5 strips of bacon
1 small sweet onion chopped
2 stocks of celery chopped
1 T butter
3-4 baby carrots chopped
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 c shredded Asiago Cheese
1 lb of frozen corn
1 cup of 1/2 and 1/2 I use Hoods fat free
2 large potatoes chopped in 1/2 inch cubes
4 cups of vegetable stock
Salt & Pepper to taste

Cook bacon until crisp in 1 T olive oil and reserve. Add celery, onions, carrots and butter to the bacon reserve and cook for about 10 minutes. add flour, salt & pepper, turmeric for about 3 minutes and then add stock, potatoes and the crispy bacon and boil until tender. Simmer 15 minutes and add 1/2 and 1/2, cheese for about 5 minutes and serve
