½ cup butter or margarine, softened
½ cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter chips

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. Add the egg and mix until fluffy.

Blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together well. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate and peanut butter chips.

Drop cookie dough by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375° F.

These are my favorite guilty pleasure and my go-to snack when I was pregnant. I was making several dozen cookies a week, and everyone wanted the recipe. Using a mix of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips really make this special.
