1 c. nuts
1 c. dates
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or lard
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Seed the dates. Sprinkle with soda and pour the boiling water over them. Let cool. Cream butter, sugar, and egg.
