Ingredients:  
1/2 c sugar
1 T cornstarch
1 c boiling water
pinch of salt
2 T butter
1 t vanilla
Brandy to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar and cornstarch. Add gradually to this mixture boiling water stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add salt, butter, and vanilla. Add brandy to taste.
