2 quarts chicken broth
2 Tbsp rosemary
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp fennel seed
2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Cup clam juice
1/2 Can tomato paste (6 ounce)
1 stick butter
1 Cup white wine
2 lb shrimp, with tails
1 loaf French bread (1 pound)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour broth into a large pot, and mix in rosemary, garlic, pepper, celery seed, fennel seed, thyme, red pepper flakes, clam juice, tomato paste, and butter. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Stir wine into the soup, and continue to simmer and occasionally stir 2 hours.
Just before serving, stir in shrimp. Continue cooking 3 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque. Serve with bread for soaking up all the yummy broth.

This recipe comes from a the restaurant called "Killer Shrimp". They served only this shrimp with your choice of bread, rice or pasta. That's all the wait staff had to take orders for and they messed up in some way each time.
The restaurant closed so now this dish has become a New Years staple at my family's celebration. Enjoy!
