1 medium onion
2 stalks celery
1 bell pepper
1 lb hot bulk sausage
4 1/2 c. water
1 box of Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 can water chestnuts, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350.
Chop onion, celery and bell pepper into even size pieces. Saute with the sausage and drain well. In a large pot, add 4 1/2 cups water, the box (2 envelopes) of soup mix and 1/2 cup of rice. Let come to a boil and cook for 7 mins. Add sliced water chestnuts. Pour into a large casserole dish (9x11), cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and let stand for 10 mins before serving.
