1 cup Soft Butter or Margarine
˝ cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Sifted All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
1 pkg (5.75-oz) Chocolate Kisses
Confectioners’ Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Add flour and nuts. Blend well.

Chill dough

Remove foil from kisses

Shape dough around kisses, using about 1 teaspoon of dough for each.

Roll to make ball. Be sure to cover kiss completely.

Bake on ungreased cooky sheet at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

Cool slightly, remove to wire rack.

While still warm, roll in confectioners’ sugar.

Store in tightly covered container.

Roll in sugar again before serving if desired.
