1 cup unsalted Butter, softened
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups Sugar
6 large Eggs
3 cups sifted Cake Flour
pinch Salt
1 & 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
With a mixer, cream together butter and cream cheese. Add sugar gradually and mix until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually mix in cake flour and salt. Mix in vanilla.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake for about an hour and twenty minutes or until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the cake in the pan for about 10 minutes, then finish cooling on a wire rack.
