1½ cups peeled, diced apples
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup flour
¾ cup sugar
⅛ tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
⅛ tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Mix apples and nuts - set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix with apples and nuts.
In another small bowl, beat egg and vanilla then mix with other mix.

Pour into well-greased, spring form pan. Bake for 30 min. Serve with cinnamon ice cream and caramel sauce.

This is a special dessert from Sibley Station restaurant in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. When we met to plan John & Nancy's wedding, the Nelsons and the Bakers enjoyed this wonderful dessert!
