1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1 cup dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 350°. In a stand mixer, combine the butter, sugar and brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix for 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and whole wheat flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to the wet ingredients in the stand mixer. Stir until a batter forms. Stir in the oats then stir in the cranberries.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough at a time onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
