Melt together:
2 squares bitter chocolate
1/2 cup butter
Put melted ingredients in a bowl and add:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour sifted with
2 tsp. baking powder
Break 2 eggs into the mixture
Add 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:

DO NOT STIR until ALL ingredients are added in this order; then beat vigorously.
Bake at 350 in loaf or layers 25-30 minutes.
