1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups white flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups chocolate chips (good quality Callebut is best)
2 cups oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans
3/4 cup chocolate nibs ( an optional variation)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars together. Add the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour , baking powder and oatmeal. Add the chocolate chips, nibs ( if using ) and nuts. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and using a tablespoon mound dough on the sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
